The BWH Strollers has supported the March of Dimes in their efforts to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality for the past 16 years. We are one of the top corporate fundraising team in Massachusetts. Cumulatively, we have raised over $600,000. This year we have set an ambitious goal of $30,000 The money we have raised has gone towards the development of a "medical manhattan project" which includes five transdisciplinary prematurity research centers at various university medical centers to discover the cause of premature birth. This past year, they were hard at work advocating in Washington to protect maternity coverage for pregnant women.
