On May 11th, I am teaming up with the Brigham and Women's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the "March for Babies." The March for Babies is sponsored by the March of Dimes. We will be walking to raise money to end preventable preterm birth and infant death.
Both of my children were born prematurely and spent a combined 3+ months in the Brigham and Women's NICU. Having a baby born preterm is a very frightening experience. During our time in the NICU, Rob and I witnessed firsthand how hard these babies have to fight from the moment they are born. Premature birth is the #1 killer of babies in the United States, and many of those who survive face a lifetime of serious health problems.
Prematurity is an issue that is very close to my heart and I’m committed to raising funds so that every family can get the best possible start. Please consider supporting my efforts by making a donation. Together we can give help to the hundreds of thousands of babies born prematurely and bring hope for the millions more yet to come.Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
I will be walking in honor of Michael Charles Giambra (9/18/23-9/20/23)
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies: A Mother of a Movement™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
