Last August, our family spent 17 days in the NICU due to some complications from birth. Fortunately for us, we had access to world-class care at a hospital close to where we live. All of us were so well looked after and despite it being an obviously stressful experience, we are so grateful to have been able to get the care we needed.
This year, our family is marching and fundraising so that other families might access the care they need just like we could. It is our goal that every family gets the best possible start.
