Today in the U.S., 1 in every 8 babies will be born prematurely. Some of them won't survive, and others will have health problems that could last a lifetime. The funds we raise in WalkAmerica support research that saves babies' lives.
Many of us have been affected by premature births whether it has been a first-hand experience or through family members or friends. If this has happened to you, please give so that others may be spared the experience of having a premature baby. If this experience has not touched you personally, we would like to urge you to consider making a contribution in celebration and honor of the healthy full-term babies who have brought joy into your life.
