Sponsors who contribute online with a credit card or PayPal receive an automatic thank-you note and receipt via e-mail.
Sponsors who contribute by cash or check are also sent an automatic thank you/receipt by e-mail. However, you must enter their e-mail address when you record their donation in order for this to work.
If you do not have an e-mail address for a sponsor, you can print a receipt for them when the donation is recorded:
After you enter the details of the donation, you see a message about receipts and thank you's.
Click on the donor's name to print a receipt.
The receipt appears. Click Print this Receipt Now.
If you want to write the donor a thank you note, you can do so from your dashboard. Click Offline Thank You Card.
