On March 24th, I will be walking for Healthy Babies. Our son, Sean Michael Downey, was born with a fatal neural tube defect in 1994. We walk so that all babies will be born healthy like our other children - Danny, Grace and Annie.
This year I am honored to be a co-chair for the UF and Shands Walk Team. Our goal is $102,000 to help save babies (and families) from this growing problem. From Polio to Prematurity, the March of Dimes remains committed to healthy babies. We, too, remain committed to helping all babies. Please join us in our fight against prematurity!
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
