Important Update
Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!
March for Babies Greater Washington DC P be held Saturday, April 25th at Nationals Park—1500 S. Capitol Street SE, Washington DC, 20002
Parking is free in the GEICO garage and Lot C. Nationals Park has a no bag policy with the exception of diaper/family bags. Please review the policy here
Gates open at 8:00 AM and our opening ceremony starts at 9:30 AM. The walk will begin immediately following our opening ceremony.
Dress is casual and the walk is rain or shine!
Day of festivities include: Rock painting, stroller decorating, music and fun for the whole family! Visit our four neighborhoods: CARE, CONNECT, UNITE and HONOR! The route is a leisure 3 mile walk around Navy Yard and finishes by walking on the field and crossing Homeplate! Don't forget to take a picture of yourself on the jumbotron! Dogs are welcome but not allowed on the baseball field (there is an alternate walk route to finish).
Any walker who raises $1,000 or more is a Circle of Champion and invited to the VIP area to enjoy a hot breakfast that morning!
March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start.
