This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Meet the Sangha Family

Shelly gave birth to her son, Harjun, at 32 weeks after complications during her pregnancy. Although she had experienced an easy pregnancy up until this point, she had a condition called Velamentous Cord Insertion. This is a rare abnormal condition during pregnancy which is hard to detect. Harjun passed away at 4 days old. The Sangha family made it their mission to fundraise for March of Dimes so that no other family would go through a situation like theirs. Shelly said, "We hope that with all our efforts, that the money we raise will help the research in finding more answers to prematurity and death in babies. We hope with all our heart that one day all babies can be born healthy, and no parent ever has to experience what we went through. We are proud to be a part of the March of Dimes mission."
