ABOUT MARCH FOR BABIES
Welcome to March for Babies Chambersburg, PA! We meet in front of the train at Norlo Park in Fayetteville for an inspirational launch by our March for Babies 2014 Chairs Dr. George and Carrie Galanis of Summit Health! The 2 mile walk will wrap around Norlo Park and end with food and entertainment.
March for Babies is our biggest fundraising event of the year, the money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. It funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies.
Directions: From Shippensburg: Take I-81 South, turn left on exit 16 to Lincoln Way East. Go east approximately 3.5 miles and arrive at the park on your right.
From Waynesboro and Greencastle: take I-81 North, turn right on exit 16 to Lincoln Way East. Go east approximately 3.5 miles and arrive at the park on your right.
Parking: Parking is free. Parking closest to the registration area can be found by turning taking Lincoln Way East to Lincoln Terrace, turn right at the stop sign and turn right at the third driveway at the small green Norlo Park sign.

Brownwyn and Greg Herb and their four children are Shippensburg residents. Brownywn, a photographer, and Greg, a teacher, experienced four premature births: Rowen, born at 30 weeks; Maeve, born at 34 weeks; and twins Nora and William, born at 28 weeks. The family survived an array of complications including polyhydramnios, neutropenia, elevated bilirubin, and respiratory distress.
The Herbs describe their NICU experience as “isolating,” but they are thankful to the other NICU families and the NICU staff at Pinnacle for their comfort and support. Greg and Brownwyn joined March for Babies to ensure expectant mothers have access to lifesaving treatment. They plan to fundraise with friends and family and Greg’s coworkers at Nancy Grayson Elementary School.
