This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Our ambassador

Baby Jackie

Stacey Fuller and Patrick McKenna were thrilled about becoming parents together and expanding their new blended family. But then their baby, Jackie, was born 6 weeks early. She was struggling to eat, breathe and digest food and spent her first 24 days fighting for life in a newborn intensive care unit (NICU) at Paoli Hospital. I cant tell you how difficult it was, seeing our new baby girl lying in the NICU, fighting for life. All our hopes and dreams for her hung in the balance, says Stacey. We were so scared and anxious with each moment that passed. But thanks to the care that Jackie received, and the support of the March of Dimes for research and treatment, now we know the relief and joy parents feel when their child survives and becomes healthy enough to leave the NICU and go home. Jackie just celebrated her first birthday with her family. She has been named the March of Dimes 2014 Chester County Ambassador. As ambassador, Jackie and her family will share their story and encourage people to participate in the March of Dimes fundraiser, March for Babies in Chester County. The money raised supports community programs that help moms have healthy, full term pregnancies, and funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies lives.
