At 30 weeks, I went into pre-term labor. Thanks to the efforts of our medical team, the labor was controlled and precautions were taken to keep the girls safe inside. Maggie and Audrey were born healthy and happy at 36 weeks 3 days, thanks to our physicians, our hosptial and organizations like the March of Dimes.

Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in WalkAmerica support research that saves babies' lives.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
