Hi everyone,
I am very excited to be a part of the “first” March for Babies. For those of you who are less familiar, the March of Dimes is dedicated to improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
Last year, Mark and I were blessed with two healthy twin boys. Hayden and Hunter were born at 38 weeks, on September 26, 2007 at 4lbs 12 oz and 6lbs 5oz. I attribute all of the great healthcare that the boys and I received during my pregnancy to the support and research efforts that this organization provides. I am convinced that without this organization we would not have made it to full term.
