In Loving Memory of Leonardo Velummylum 

October 22, 2013 marked the birth of our firstborn Leonardo. On that day, we felt immense love, joy and pride to be holding our baby boy in our arms but we also felt devasted to see him take his last breath within an hour of being born. Fundraising for March of Dimes and participating in the March for Babies is an opportunity for us to honor Leo while helping other families and their precious babies. This will be our 5th year fundraising and marching and has become a precious family tradition. Thank you to all of you who have supported us over the last years. The fight for babies continues and that is why we keep walking and fundraising for this cause. 

Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Some, like Leo, don't make it. We are walking in March for Babies because we want to do something about this, and we need your help. The funds raised will support research that will help mothers have a healthy pregnancy and give birth to healthy babies. Your donation raises awareness and supports the research to help prevent future losses, as well as to help support families who will go through the loss of a baby.
