Dear Family & Friends,
This year Walk America has adopted a new name that more clearly ties to the March of Dimes' mission of improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. I am now Marching for Babies!
Did you know? Recent national statistics show that an alarming 12.7 percent of babies (that's 1 in 8) are born prematurely. The pre-term birth rate continues to rise and has increased more than 20 percent since 1990.
One day, I plan to be a mom. It's good to know there's help for me when I'm ready.
Thanks so much in advance for your love, support, and donations as I march for babies! Together, we can save lots of babies and promote good public health practices.
Much love, Amy
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
