This is our baby girl Alexis Leigh, born 1-21-2003. She was born 16 weeks early due to my cervix opened to soon and I had to be hospitalized and then I got an infection that doctors said could travel to my uterus and end up killing me and my daughter. So the best thing to do was go ahead and deliver my baby and pray for the best. She did fight for 3 days but in the end her little lungs were not strong enough and she passed away. We now do have a healthy little 3 yr old boy Connor and also a healthy 5 month old baby girl. But no one could ever replace our baby girl Alexis, we believe that god has a plan and that things happen for a reason. I have been involved with the March of Dimes, since 2003.

Please help me to raise funds, so that hopefully in the furture no parent has to go through the pain that me, my husband and our family has went through with the loss of our baby girl.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
