Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in WalkAmerica support research that saves babies' lives.

This is very important to my family, as we've personally experienced it. 4 months in the NICU and years of therapy later, Sophia has grown to be a beautiful young lady and amazing daughter. If it weren't for groups like the March of Dimes, I may not have been fortunate enough to have her blessing my life every single day!

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
