Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in the March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives.

Last year, through your generosity the Walder Walkers raised over $2,000 in support of healthy babies everywhere. Having four grandchildren who were born prematurely, our family has directly benefited from the research and medical breakthroughs designed to give our babies a healthy start to life. This year the "Walder Walkers" will walk again on April 17th to raise money to fund the research and family services provided by the March of Dimes.
