Hey everyone, it's that time of year again! If you're visiting my page, you probably already know my story, although we've recently added another chapter to it! My baby girl, Savannah Faith, was born 15 weeks early. She was only 2 lbs. and just 14 inches long. She spent 3 tough months in the hospital, and we never thought we'd make it through the rollercoaster ride. However, thanks to a great NICU staff (South Shore Hospital!) and the power of prayer, she made it through and is now 5 years old and a HUGE bundle of energy!! She's in preschool, loves gymnastics, and is now a BIG SISTER! Which brings me to our newest reason to walk...
One year ago, we added another preemie to my family. My son, Drew, was born at 31 weeks. He weighed 4 lbs. 2 oz, and was 17 inches long. He's now an amazing little man with a smile that can light up any room!
We are blessed with our babies, but understand that without organizations like the March of Dimes, our babies wouldn't be where they are today. Please help us to make a difference in the lives of these little miracles by making a donation or joining our team!
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
