My career as a neonatologist, specializing in the care of preterm and sick newborn infants gives me intimate knowledge of the issues being tackled by the March of Dimes.  Instead of walking in the March-for-Babies to raise money, a group of us have organized a Fly Tying "marathon". This is the 3rd year for this event (see www.flytieathon.com). Our team name is "Fayetteville Fly Tiers". The Fly Tie-a-thon provides me a way to pair my career with a hobby that I am also passionate about....Fly Tying.  Please support me in my goal to help March of Dimes to help babies."Tying flies to save babies!"

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
