I'm marching to earn one mile worth of pennies. To sponsor one foot of the mile is $0.16. It takes 84,840 pennies to stretch a mile.
Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives.
~I walk because 1 out of every 200 babies is stillborn.
~I walk because 1 out of every 8 babies born, is born too soon.
~I walk because our family has been touched by prematurity.
~I walk because 4 of our babies are in heaven!
~I walk because Stickers received such great care and attention.
~I walk because we have friends who know our pain.
~I walk because we want to STOP this silent crisis!
~I walk because I want ALL babies to have a fighting chance!
~I walk because all babies deserve their 9 months!
~I walk because ALL mommies deserve healthy babies!
~I walk because without the March of Dimes, the research wouldn't be possible!
