As we begin fundraising for our 6th year in a row for Team Lily's Hope in the March for Babies walk, we are again asking for your continued support of the March of Dimes! We are hoping to again increase our team size and achieve our fundraising goal of $3,500. We are hoping that this year you are able to join our team and/or support us through a donation. Below is our story on why we continue to participate in the March of Dimes/March for Babies activities!
Lilian Hope was born 7 weeks premature, only 2 lbs. 12 oz. and 15 inches long. She had a very rough beginning, but with her strength, wonderful doctors, hope & prayers, she was able to rise above it all. Lily just turned 5 1/2 years old on January 25th! She is an amazing, energetic girl, who is extremely smart and has a beautiful personality. Lily is attending kindergarten at Lower Milford Elementary in the Southern Lehigh School District. She is also taking gymnastics classes at The Little Gym in Macungie and swim lessons at Swim-In Zone in Center Valley. She loves going to Sunday School, reading, painting and helping to take care of our dogs. We thank God every day for the amazing gift He has given us; she has changed our lives forever. We remain forever grateful to the great doctors and nurses and would like to help other babies now that have, or will share Lily's experiences.
Please visit and like our Facebook page, "Lily's Hope Foundation" for updates throughout the next few months, and some exciting projects we're working on this year! Justin and I were recently elected to the Board of Directors for the Northeastern Pennsylvania Board for the March of Dimes. Our family continues to keep the March of Dimes and their mission close to our hearts.
The money we raise helps fund research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Jen, Justin & Lily Driscoll
