My Little Dude Joey was a preemie, born 12 weeks early weighing just 2lb 9oz. Now in first grade, he is doing super! But it might have been bad. We're thankful for the March Of Dimes and truly believe the organization helped save our little boy. Their help funding the research responsible for surfactant replacement therapy literally saved his life!
Furthermore, did you know that the March Of Dimes is almost the only organization that provides continuing education to the NICU Nurses? These wonderful people are the primary care givers to babies in the NICU and need all the information they can get!
Joey's Posse was formed 7 years ago to support The March of Dimes. The MOD champions the needs of Moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for the March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
