I'm a preemie. I was born on February 13th 2004, 6 weeks early. I weighed 5lbs 9 oz. I am now 4 years old!! My sisters were mircopreemies. We are walking in memory of Ashlyn and in honor of all other preemies. I now have a new baby brother and he was bigger then all of us! He weighed 8lbs 7 oz and was born at 39 weeks! Research that March of Dimes did helped my mommy get to full term!

Today in the U.S., 1 in every 8 babies will be born prematurely. Some of them won't survive, and others will have health problems that could last a lifetime. The funds we raise in WalkAmerica support research that saves babies' lives.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

Your gift will support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
