In loving memory of my beloved son ANGEL GREGORIO and in honor of my baby boy JOSE ANDRES.
Our family has experienced two premature births. Our dear Angel was born on August 10, 2006 at 19 weeks only weighing 208 grams. Sadly he did not survive. Baby “Andy” was born on March 10, 2007 at 23 weeks weighing 468 grams. He was in the NICU for 6 months fighting for dear life. He continues the struggle with being a preemie. Andy is a fighter and a very happy baby.
The March of Dimes has changed the name of its biggest event to March for Babies. It's a great change because it makes it very clear exactly who I am walking for -- all babies. I am very excited to be a part of the March for Babies; please support my participation.
Although the name of this signature event changed, the mission did not. The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the doctors and nurses at UCLA. If it wasn′t for them and Gods hand our little miracle would not be here. We thank every one in advance for taking the time to read our story.
