Member of team name: Maria-Katherine, Konstantine
Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. As most of you know my babies were born to small and very sick. Maria-Katherine weighed only 1 lb 11 oz when she was born 15 weeks to early. After three surgerys and 101 days in Fairfax hospital she finally came home. Two years later our son was born with a very rare Vein of Galen, if it hadnt been discovered by accident in utero he would have died at birth. Fortunate for us it was found and we were sent to NY to await his delivery for 6 weeks. Only two doctors in the world does this operartion with success. Three weeks after he was born Konstantine got to come home. March of Dimes is the one who does the research to keep all babies healthy while in their mommies tummy. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help.
Please support my walk. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!
