Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Some of these babies don't make it and others will have severe disabilities for the rest of their lives. I'm walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help.

As most of you may know one of my very close friends lost a baby boy who was born too early at 19 weeks in October of 2005. She also had a baby girl who was born at 29 weeks in September of 2006. Thanks to the research of the March Of Dimes her daughter spent several weeks in the NICU and is now a very healthy, very happy, and very active young girl. My friend also has another son that was born in September of 2008 who was born full term and was healthy and strong enough to leave the hospital when mommy was discharged. This was also thanks to research by the March Of Dimes.
