I am Marching for Maddie, a bright light that will never go dim.
The World Famous Maddie is a tiny little miracle who touched the lives of not only those who knew her well but also the lives of those who have only heard of her; for those who are just now reading her story.
Madeline Alice Spohr passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2009 at the age of 17 months.
My heart aches for her parents, Mike and Heather Spohr, whose lives have revolved around this bundle of sweet energy and infectious laughter.
Please support me in not only Marching for Maddie and honoring her memory, but for all babies...
The money we raise for March for Babies will help:
- support all-important research offering preventions and solutions for babies born too soon or with birth defects
- educate women on things they can do to increase their chances of having a healthy baby
- provide comfort and information to families with a newborn in intensive care
- push for newborn screening and health insurance for all pregnant women and children
