Two short years ago, I never would have imagined that a baby born 13wks early could survive. Especially one who′d had no amniotic fluid for a month prior. Honestly, I′d never had a reason to think about it.

My world changed on June 21, 2009 when my water broke at 23w1d. By most standards, my pregnancy wasn′t even considered viable at that point. I was hospitalized for 31 days prior to delivering at 27w3d and much of that time was spent on the March of Dimes website. The March of Dimes gave me hope. And the research they sponsor saved Sarah‘s life.

Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. I'm walking in March for Babies because no family deserves to go thru what mine has. No baby should have to fight the way Sarah has. I want to do something about this. And I need your help.
