Katelyn - Summer 2011 - Beating the Odds!

How You Can Help Me Reach My Goal!
    Donate Now    Walk with me!

Katelyn was born in Nov 2003 weighing only 15.5 oz (440 grams) and given a 5% chance to live. But thanks to MOD funding that lead to life saving research, Katelyn is alive today and is beating the odds. She is in 1st Grade this year and still visits all of her therapist on a regular basis. She is doing remarkably where given her fragile and traumatic entry into this world. We are so proud of how far she has come!

Katelyn spent 2009 traveling across the nation as the MOD National Ambassador. We made around 90 appearances in over 50 cities and 14 states. Team Katelyn set a goal to raise $1M for the March of Dimes so no other family has to go through what we have. This was the cost of Katelyn's medical bills during her 159 day stay in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Please help us reach our goal of $1M so that one day all babies will be born healthy. Be sure to visit www.katelynsjourney.com and www.khallfoundation.com to learn more about Katelyn.

Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page. Thank you for helping me give all babies a healthy start!

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

Your gift will support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
