My goal is to raise $3000. That was the cost of ONE day in the NICU for Katrina and does not include the doctor's fees. Katrina spent 22 days in the NICU. The more money we raise, the less we spend on health care, and more babies survive and fewer will need to experience the NICU.
Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Our Sweet Katrina was one of them, born 2 months early, weighing only 3# 10oz. She spent 22 days in the NICU. Thanks to the work of the March of Dimes, Katrina is now a healthy, happy 4 year old.
Our team is walking in March for Babies because we want to help all babies be healthy.
