On March 18, 2008 my life changed forever. Aidan Lee Artiles was born too early into this world at 24 weeks weighing only 14 oz.

Despite his size, Aidan fought for nine precious days to stay in this world.

I have joined the March for Babies to honor Aidan's spirit and spread awareness about extreme prematurity.

I walk so more families will not have to go through losing a child.

I walk so more research can be funded for the causes and prevention of PPROM that caused Aidan's early arrival.

I walk to thank March of Dimes for their advocacy that gave my baby a chance despite his weeks gestation.
