On November 17, 2011, my life changed forever. That was the day that Jackson Louis and Campbell Emily were born... seven weeks early... after a perfect pregnancy... on National Premature Awareness Day.
Our beautiful twins spent the next three weeks in the NICU at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. While they were generally healthy and were focused on growing, their neighbors were other babies who weren't as healthy. Those little fighters were so strong, and it was such a thrill when we got to see one after another go home.
Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. On May 11, Jackson and Campbell will be joining me as we take part in March for Babies in Boston. We would be so thankful if you would help us reach our goal by making a donation to our walk.
Your gift will fund March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
We know first hand how important this work is, and we hope you will help support it. You can make a donation with your credit card, or if you prefer, cash or a check is fine, too. Making a secure donation is easy: just click the 'donate now' button on this page.
Thank you for helping us give all babies a healthy start!
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
