Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick.

I′m walking in March for Babies because I want to do something about this. And I need your help.

I am walking in honor of my daughter, Anastasia Zalene Pardee who was born 9 weeks early last April. You would never know it by looking at her now. What a difference this past year has made! Without the NICU @ Vassar Brothers Medica Center I could be writing a sadder story. I am grateful for them every day!

I am also walking in honor of a young boy from my church Aiden, who was also a preemie, born just 5 months after Anastasia, and my friends Niece Gabriella another preemie, born February 28 2013.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
