Santa Fe College participates in four community philanthropies each year; one of these is the March of Dimes. I am working with them once again to raise money for research and support for families affected by premature birth and infant loss.
While I suppose I knew for some time that this was a societal issue, it was not until my first son, Noah Jacob Rodkin, was stillborn that I truly understood how deeply it impacts our communities. I truly believe that the money raised through the March of Dimes can make a difference in the lives of others. Eventually, a cure will be found, no one will have to know the pain that comes with losing a baby.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
About the March of Dimes:
Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds raised through the March for Babies supports research that saves babies' lives.
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
