Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. We are blessed to have Kaylee, who is such a happy and healthy toddler. The effects of Kaylee's early arrival are diminishing, as she has made great improvements in her health and development this past year. Kaylee has been receiving chiropractic care, speech and physical therapy, medical care though her local and UofI doctors, and the love and support from many friends and family. Kaylee would not be where she is today without the combined effort of her care team or the medical and technological advances made to to help premature babies. Please help to support Kaylee and I in this year's WalkAmerica. The funds raised will support research that saves babies' lives and help to make all babies born healthy and to full term!
If you would like to join our "Team Kaylee" as a walker, please see our team page listed as "Worthy Visions- Team Kaylee" in the left column. I will be getting Team T-shirts this year, so if you would like one of these, please let me know what size. I am unsure of what the cost for this will be yet. If you are unable to walk, please feel free to make a financial donation to support our team, the March of Dimes, and research for all baby's health.
Thank you for your support, and we look foward to seeing all of you soon!
Kaylee and Emily Sherrets
