I have been touched in my life by two little miracles. Kaylee, who was born much too early and fought so hard to survive and Kaleb, who was born full term and healthy. Although both of these experiences were so different, neither child may have been here today without the medical advances, research, and information from the March of Dimes. Kaylee's development, neurological system, and heath are like a roller coster with it's ups and downs- we never know what to expect from day to day- but overall she continues to show so much progress! Kaylee would not be where she is today without the combined effort of her "team" of family, friends, and professionals or the medical and technological advances made to to help premature babies. Currently, 1 in 8 babies are born prematurely, making prematurity the #1 cause of newborn deaths in America. I want to do my part to help prevent another little baby from going through what Kaylee did. Please help to support Kaylee and I in this year's March for Babies. The funds raised will support research that saves babies' lives and help to make all babies born healthy and to full term!
