There was a time when we were praying for our son Braden to graduate from the NICU after being born 11 weeks premature. Later, when March of Dimes' walk on Chicago's Lakefront coincided with his first birthday, fundraising seemed like an appropriate way to express our gratitude for all of his milestones.
This year marks Team Braden's 18th year of participating in March for Babies as well as Braden's graduation from high school, so I'm asking our supporters for an extra special graduation present to cap off this era of walking together as a household. Braden will leave for college with a legacy of having inspired more than $42,000 to be raised to ensure that all babies are born healthy--how much more will depend on your generosity.
