Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives.

Chadwick Anthony Coombe was my first baby as a result of my first pregnancy. My husband, Paul, and I were very excited! Chadwick was so loved and wanted. No doctor, website, or specialist can give a reason as to why my membranes ruptured at 18 weeks 6 days gestation. I want to do what I can to help doctors and researchers find a reason why this happens and then devise preventative measures. Raising money for the March of Dimes is one way that I can help.
