Our first baby Emma Lynn came into this world 10 weeks early, weighing 2lbs 7 ozs. and 14.5 inches long. She was tiny but healthy. Emma turned 6 in October, she is perfect in every way. Emma has a sister Gracie Jean who just turned 4 last December. Gracie was born about 4 weeks early with no problems what so ever.

Every year, half a million babies in the U.S. are born prematurely. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities. The funds we raise in March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
