Message from the Team Captain

Heather, of The Spohrs are Multiplying, known to many as @mamaspohr on Twitter, faced the unspeakable Tuesday 4/7/2009, she said goodbye to her baby girl.

Our thoughts and our prayers go out to Heather and Mike, no one should ever have to endure the loss of a child. They have touched many lives with their writing, their humor and especially the precious moments with Maddie that they shared, and continue to share, with all of us. No one could resist that adorably, wonderful face we were lucky enough to see in each post or picture. Her smile was infectious.

To show our support a group of bloggers are getting together to walk in Maddie’s honor at the Houston March of Dimes March for Babies Walk on April 25th. We would like to invite all of you to join us, along with your families and friends and help make a mark in Maddie’s name.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
