Message from the Team Captain

The Rose team is back! This will be our 2nd year getting a team together to walk. We are extremely excited. This past year we have gotten to know so many of these families. Can you believe Amanda and Carolyn are now 7?

The 101 The Rose team consists of Michael C. Anthony, Ronnie Ramone, Dennis Mitchell, Justin Broka, Patsy Sympson and me. We are all thrilled to participate! Join our team in the walk that helps all moms and babies.

The average walker raises $216, so we are asking you to set your goal at $225. There are many creative ways to achieve your goal such as: hosting parties (we are hosting an Oscar Party) bake sales (Look forward to Michael C's famous peanut butter pie sale!), charging $5 for a casual dress day at work (This one's for you, any more casual and we'd be in sweat pants.)

The money we raise for March for Babies will help:

...support all-important research offering preventions and solutions for babies born too soon or with birth defects

...educate women on things they can do to increase their chances of having a healthy baby

...provide comfort and information to families with a newborn in intensive care

...push for newborn screening and health insurance for all pregnant women and children.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
