Message from the Team Captain
This team has been put together in memory of our son, Nehemiah Christopher Reyna, who never got a chance to take his first breath. We discovered at our routine exam at 20 weeks, that our son, no longer had a heart beat.
We also walk for all the other babies effected by prematurity, stillbirth & birth defects.

A few statistics for you:
* Stillbirth occurs in about 1 in 160 pregnancies.
* 1 in 8 babies or about 12.8 percent of babies (more than half a million a year) are born prematurely.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
