Message from the Team Captain
Kenzie's Krewe is a family team organized to walk in memory of Mackenzie Ann Wilson who was born on October 5, 2010. She passed away suddenly on January 11; Kenzie was born with a spleen only 10% of the normal size and when she caught an infection, her body was not able to fight it off. Research shows that 98% of these cases in infants are unfortunately not discovered until an autopsy. She was our perfect child, and while our time with her was too short, her memory and love will remain with all of us forever.
We would love to help raise funds to bring awareness to the health of all babies. We also hope this awareness would prevent other families from having to experience this tragedy. Please join us in the walk or donate your funds, even if only $5.00. We appreciate your help! And please remember our Kenzie, she was our precious angel on earth and now she is our precious angel in Heaven!
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
