The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has teamed up with University of Colorado Hospital and Children′s Hospital Colorado as the presenting sponsor for the Denver March for Babies walk. Together we champion the needs of babies and their families in our community and region.
One of the most dynamic ways we collaborate is through our joint operating agreement for the Colorado Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health. Here, we integrate adult and pediatric specialists from University of Colorado Hospital, Children′s Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado School of Medicine into one team on the Anschutz Medical Campus.
The combined depth and breadth of services offered, as well as access to cutting-edge research and technology on one of the nation′s newest academic health centers, provides everything needed for routine labor and deliveries, as well as all of the adult and pediatric subspecialty services needed to care for high-risk mothers and babies.
By participating in the 2013 March for Babies you are helping the March of Dimes support life saving research, services, education and advocacy for our little babies to get a healthy start in life. Supporting this cause feeds directly into many of our strategic initiatives. We are asking you to please join our fundraising efforts today by sponsoring our walk or signing up to walk with us. Your participation in this event will help babies in ways you could never imagine.
Thank you and we'll see you on April 27 in City Park.
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
