I know that many people feel that they can't relate to the March for Babies effort because they have healthy children or no children at all. March for Babies's mission is now about promoting the health of ALL babies.
March for Babies helps moms and babies by:
-Advocating for better health care coverage
- Fighting for better newborn screening in every state
- Providing the best information on healthy pregnancy and delivery
- Helping moms overcome substance abuse
-Increasing access to prenatal care
- Educating generations of parents on the value of vaccination against disease.

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
