Together we make a difference

Marching in a team is not only a better way to raise more funds, it also is a wonderful way to celebrate, honor or remember babies with others who care as much as you.

Teams in action

Whether this is your first year or your 25th, you'll find that March for Babies is a fun, compelling and rewarding event.

We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2.3 billion to benefit all babies. Now we're excited to have you join thousands of people who share your passion for improving babies' health.

The March of Dimes has been working for the health of our nation’s babies and children for more than three-quarters of a century. Generations of Americans have benefitted from the extraordinary dedication of March of Dimes volunteers, staff and research grantees. As young people, we are an important part of the continuation of this legacy. We have the power to ensure that the March of Dimes is able to create a healthy future for our children, and for our children’s children.
  • Marci Prater

Principal, Catlettsburg Elementary School, Catlettsburg, KY
As a lifelong educator, I have come to the realization that we must instill a desire within our children to give back to their communities. Working alongside the March of Dimes has allowed me the opportunity to model leadership and cultivate a desire to make a difference in the lives of our most precious resource. Over the past nine years, our students have dedicated their time, money and efforts to raise awareness about the ongoing research and support provided by the March of Dimes.
  • Elizabeth Alvarez
