We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There'll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends - it's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families. 2017 Ambassadors Travis and Elisabetta Bonvino

For the Bonvino’s, the journey of starting a family was not an easy one. In March 2015 all the ups and downs of trying to start a family finally paid off when they learned they were pregnant with twins! They knew this journey would not be an easy one as well, with Craig being a Merchant Marine and traveling all the time. At 23 weeks, Emily was admitted to the hospital after her water broke and spent the next 12 days flat on her back, feet elevated. She was giving medication to help stop her labor. But at 25 week pregnant Travis and Elisabetta came into the world. They were tiny and very fragile, but beautiful. After 108 days, lots of prayers, thoughts, and miracles, the babies were able to come home on November 16th, 3 days after their due date! They came home on oxygen and monitors and were able to celebrate their first thanksgiving at home with all 4 grandparents and lots of other family. Today, the kids are both happy and healthy 1 year olds. Ready to take on the world! The Bonvino’s cannot possible thank the staff at ORMC and March of Dimes enough for all they were able to do for their sweet babies!
