Join us for March for Babies at Nationals Park. You'll walk 3 miles alongside 5,000 other supporters throughout the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The day will include music, family fun area, moon bounce, face painting, and your team will be featured on the park's Jumbotron as you cross our home plate finish line!


Complimentary parking is available in Lots B and C or take the metro to Navy Yard-Ballpark on the Green Line, just one block away. Well-behaved dogs are welcome but not allowed on the field. Thank you to for sponsoring a water station along the walk route.

Meet Our Ambassadors

REMEMBER: Matthew At 40 weeks, the Schmitts were told that their baby boy, Matthew, had died from umbilical cord strangulation. He was born the next morning, June 14. The Schmitts walk to help prevent another family from feeling their same pain and to provide a space for Matthew to leave his mark on the world. HOPE: Rowen Ruby and Rowen were born via emergency c-section at 34 weeks. Rowen revealed a heart murmur and was taken to a cardiac intensive care unit. Rowen underwent many surgeries: a heart repair at 6.5 weeks, surgery to open a constricted airway and placement of a G-Tube. Rowen was in the hospital for 3.5 months and returned many times in the following 2 years. Today, Rowen is 5 years old and continues to fight. CELEBRATE: Arlo Arlo was born via emergency c-section at 32 weeks due to complications from placenta previa. He weighed 4 lbs 9 oz. Arlo spent 35 days in the NICU battling jaundice, apnea, destats and bradycardia. Today, Arlo is an adventurous 3.5 year old who loves his big brother!
