Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

ABOUT MARCH FOR BABIES
We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There'll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends - it's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families. Join our event and walk with us to raise money for babies right here in our community!

2017 Scioto Valley Ambassador Avery Barker
This is the Barker family's 10th year supporting the March for Babies! They are very excited to share Avery's story to provide hope to those affected by premature birth.
Avery was born July 15 at 31 weeks and weighed 2lbs 10oz. Avery Spent one month in the NICU, while there she was diagnosed with RDS, on C-pap, and had ROP. The one real difficulty she has from her premature birth is visual impairments. While in the NICU Avery received surfactant therapy, a treatment discovered by the March of Dimes. Today Avery is a healthy 10 year old who is very active in her community.
