Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There'll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends - it's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families. Join our event and walk with us to raise money for babies right here in our community!

2017 Tallahasse Ambassador Dayton Wells Bench
In February of 2014, Kelly and Jason Bench were excited to learn they would be expecting their first child in October. When Kelly’s water broke at 25 weeks doctors tried everything to keep her from delivering early. At 28 weeks (3 months early), labor could no longer be stopped and they welcomed Dayton Wells Bench into the world. He weighed 2lbs 14oz and measured just 15 inches long. Dayton spent 49 days in the NICU at TMH before going home!
Today, Dayton is a happy, energetic 2 year old, who loves music, first responder cars & trucks and playing golf with his Daddy!
The Bench family is honored to serve as the 2017 March for Babies Ambassadors and to support the mission of the March of Dimes! They are passionate about raising awareness about the long-term effects of prematurity on a young family and the importance of ending the many causes of premature birth. They believe all babies should have a fighting chance at life!
